Without fail, my mum will always get us, the children, kuih muih or karipap for tea time whenever one of us are back in Penang. My mum likes this particular kuih stall in Batu Lanchang market. There was already a crowd before they could even the stall. Now most of you must be wondering what is Bengawan Solo. Its like a kuih franchise in Singapore and its usually sold in shopping complexes. My aunts would always bring us there whenever we are in Singapore to visit them. I personally like kuih lapis and the pinkish kuih that the Chinese use it to pray, rofl. There's plenty that I would like to mention here but I can't remember the names. I usually will just point and show how many I want >.<!
I wonder if anyone is gonna claim the kuih muih as theirs like what happened to the chicken rice and bak kut teh -.- From the way I see it, one of the few reasons we are still able to live together is because of the variety of food.
